Here's the reality

Why May 19 is the one that counts.

Most Georgians miss the primary for three reasons: they don't know when it is, they don't understand how it works, and they don't realize it shapes their daily life. That's what May Matters fixes.

The problem Just 1 in 7 Georgians voted in the 2024 primaries

Those races determined who appeared on the November ballot — not who led in the polls, but who voters actually got to choose from.

Why the primary matters: In 2024, 40% of Georgia state legislative races had just one candidate on the general election ballot. No competition. No real choice. In those districts, the primary was the only election that mattered. Win the primary, win the seat. That means May 19 isn't the warmup. It's the election. And with turnout this low, a small number of votes decide who represents your community for the next two years. Source: 11Alive

Information moves through people, not campaigns.

of people trust someone they know to teach them about elections — more than any ad, article, or algorithm. That's why we built this model around people, not platforms.

Our approach

How Our Model Works

Nonpartisan election education through trusted relationships — not ads, algorithms, or headlines.

Step 1

We equip
trusted leaders

We find and activate business, faith, and community leaders.

We give you the tools — messaging, graphics, ready-to-use materials.

Get informed.

Step 2

Leaders reach
their people

Share clear, simple election info in your own voice and brand.

Emails, events, apps, tent cards — whatever fits your community.

Share in your voice.

Step 3

People
show up

When someone hears from a person they trust, they act.

More people informed. More people ready. More people voting.

Activate your community.
