Here’s something worth knowing: primary elections shape who appears on the November ballot — and who ultimately makes decisions that affect your business. Turnout in May primaries is historically low, often simply because members don’t realize the election is happening.

We want to change that. For official, nonpartisan information on registration, voting options, and key deadlines, visit the Georgia Secretary of State’s office: sos.ga.gov

Before You Hit Send

Four things that make sharing more effective.

The message matters, but so does how you send it. These small adjustments consistently make a big difference.

Make it personal

Add one sentence in your own words before the copy-paste message. Even "I wanted to share this with you specifically" changes how it lands.

Lead with why it matters

Start with the mission before the ask. People join causes before they commit to tasks. One line about why you care goes a long way.

Keep the bar low

Emphasize that even one share makes a difference. The ask is "get informed" not "do everything." People are more likely to act when the first step feels small.

Follow up once

A single gentle follow-up a few days later doubles response rates. Something as simple as "Did you get a chance to look at this?" is all it takes.
