Train the Trainer

Equip trusted leaders in your organization to share May Matters with their own networks. We run a facilitated session that prepares staff, volunteers, ERG leaders, or faith ambassadors with clear talking points, answers to common questions, and ready-to-use materials they can adapt for any audience.

Host a Ballot Preview Party

Create a welcoming, low-pressure space for people to review what's on their ballot before Election Day. Participants walk through the offices and races on their ballot, learn where to find reliable information, and make a voting plan. Works in workplaces, congregations, community spaces, or virtually - and it helps reduce the last-minute confusion that often keeps people from participating.

Organize a Group Vote

Make participation easier by helping people vote together. Set a shared early voting day, coordinate transportation, or create a simple group plan that helps people vote when it works for them. Group voting builds momentum, normalizes participation, and reinforces the idea that showing up is a shared responsibility - not a solo act.

Invite a Leader

Know someone who should be in this coalition?

The most powerful thing you can do after joining May Matters is bring another trusted leader in. Think of one person whose network would make a difference - then send them this.

Who to invite: Think of one person whose community already trusts them. An employer, faith leader, chamber president, or nonprofit director. One good invite can multiply your impact.

Short Invite - Text or LinkedIn Best for a quick, direct ask to someone you know well.

I’ve joined May Matters - a nonpartisan effort to help more Georgians participate in the May 19 primary - and immediately thought of you.

Your network trusts you. That’s exactly what this coalition is built on. Takes very little time and the toolkit handles the heavy lifting. Worth a look: gamatters.us
